INJESUS STANDARD FOR CHRISTIAN COMMUNICATIONS

We at inJesus.com earnestly desire to lift up Jesus Christ as Lord over all and want to represent Him the best way we can.  We desire to develop a safe environment for all to grow into His image and therefore are working towards a Christian community that represents the standard in which He spoke and modeled to us.  The following is the standard of Christian communication in which we desire to adhere to at inJesus.com

We value your concerns and feedback.  Due to the massive volume, inJesus is unable to read all that is documented in our archives.  If you feel there is a group that is not adhering to these standards, please let us know privately.  Any group that dishonors the standards of inJesus.com will investigated, contacted and deleted when necessary.

 1.  Communication at inJesus.com raises up Jesus Christ as God's Son, the only way to be reconciled to God.

John 14:6 NKJV Jesus said to him, "I am the way , the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.

2.  Communication at inJesus.com believes that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, rose again from the grave and if we believe in Him as God's Son, we will have eternal life.

John 3:14-16 AMP And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must [so it is necessary that] the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross], [Num 21:9.] In order that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may not perish, but have eternal life and [actually] live forever!  For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ( unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

1 Cor 15:3-4 NKJV
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures...

3.  Communication at inJesus.com adheres that all scripture in the Holy Bible is inspired Word of God.

2 Tim 3:16-17 NKJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

4.  Communication at inJesus.com seeks to honor the Holy Spirit, and not resist the Holy Spirit, blasphemy the Holy Spirit, grieve the Holy Spirit, quench the Holy Spirit, lie to the Holy Spirit, strive with the Holy Spirit, or test the Holy Spirit.

Matt 12:31-32 NLT Every sin or blasphemy can be forgiven--except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which can never be forgiven.  Anyone who blasphemes against me, the Son of Man, can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.

Acts 7:51 NKJV You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears!  You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.

Eph 4:30 NKJV Do not grieve the Holy Spirit.  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

1 Thess 5:19 NKJV Do not quench the Holy Spirit.  Do not quench the Spirit.

Acts 5:3-5 NLT Then Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart?  You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself.  4 The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished.  And after selling it, the money was yours to give away.  How could you do a thing like this?  You weren't lying to us but to God." 5 As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died.

Gen 6:3 NKJV And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."

Acts 5:9 NLT And Peter said, "How could the two of you even think of doing a thing like this--conspiring together to test the Spirit of the Lord?

5.  Communication at inJesus.com entrusts that the Holy Spirit uses people to minister to and speak to His body.

1 Peter 4:8-11 NKJV And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of ins." Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.  As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.  If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.  If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever.  Amen.

1 Cor 12:4-7, 11, 18-21 NKJV There are diversities of gifts , but the same Spirit.  There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.  And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all...  But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.  For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.  ...  But now God has et the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.  And if they were all one member, where would the body be?  But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.  And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you."

6.  Communication at inJesus.com aims to speak everything in love, for God is love and love is His highest commandment.

1 Cor 16:14 NKJV Let all that you do be done with love.

1 John 4:15-16 NKJV Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us.  God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

John 15:12-13 NKJV This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.  Greater love has o one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

Mark 12:30-31 NKJV And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.  And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Rom 13:10 NKJV Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.  For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1 John 4:20-21 NKJV If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?  And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

7.  Communication at inJesus.com according to scripture, refrains from criticism, condemnation, judgment, slander, unforgiveness, filthy language, boasting, blaspheming, despising, mocking, divisiveness, anger, bitterness, wrath, malice, evil speaking of another, lying, lewdness, hatred, contentions, gossip, and coarse jesting.

James 4:11-12 NLT Don't speak evil against each other, my dear brothers and sisters.  If you criticize each other and condemn each other, then you are criticizing and condemning God's law.  But you are not a judge who can decide whether the law is right or wrong.  Your job is to obey it.  God alone, who made the law, can rightly judge among us.  He alone has the power to save or to destroy.  So what right do you have to condemn your neighbor?

Titus 3:2 NKJV ...to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

2 Tim 3:1-5 NJKV But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers , without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.  And from such people turn away!

Gal 5:13-15 NKJV For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.  For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Jude 17-19 NKJV But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.  These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

Eph 4:29-32 NKJV Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification , that it may impart grace to the hearers.  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.  Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.  And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Rom 14:19-20 NKJV Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.

Matt 12:34-37 NKJV ...  For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure rings forth evil things.  But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.  For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

Matt 15:11 NKJV Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man."

Gal 5:19-21 NKJV Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice uch things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Matt 7:1-5 NKJV "Judge not, that you be not judged.  For with what judgment you judge , you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.  And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?  Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye?  Hypocrite!  First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

1 Tim 5:12-14 NKJV ...  having condemnation because they have cast off their first faith.  And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not.

Eph 5:4 AMP Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].

Col 3:8-10 NKJV But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.  Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him...
